Wouch

Child Safety Standards

In brief. Wouch is an adults-only (18+) platform with zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Prohibited content and behaviour are removed and acted on, accounts are restricted, evidence is preserved, and credible cases are reported to the appropriate authorities where the law requires or permits. Report concerns in-app via Report > Child Safety, or by email.

What we prohibit

We do not allow, and we act on, any content or behaviour that sexualises, endangers, or exploits a minor. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming or attempts to establish inappropriate contact with a minor, sexualised depictions or descriptions of minors, and any attempt to use Wouch to facilitate harm to a child.

Who can use Wouch

Wouch is for adults aged 18 and over. We ask for date of birth at sign-up and block anyone who indicates they are under 18. If we learn that an under-18 account exists, we close it and handle the data in line with our Minor Policy. We do not knowingly collect data from minors or market to them.

How to report

If you encounter content or behaviour that may endanger a child, report it immediately. You do not need to be certain; if something concerns you, report it and let our team review it.

  • In the app: Open the profile or conversation, tap the three-dot menu, choose Report, and select the child-safety reason.
  • By email: connect@wouch.app.

How we respond

Every child-safety report is treated as the highest priority and reviewed by trained staff. Credible reports lead to content removal, account restriction, secure evidence preservation, and reporting to the appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law. Access to these cases is restricted to authorised safety personnel.

Our wider safety standards

Child safety is part of Wouch's broader commitment to consent, responsible behaviour, and accountable moderation. Read our Trust & Safety approach and Community Guidelines for the standards that apply across the platform.
